Romans

Chapter 1:

I am one of the chosen ones.
I am a saint.
I am one of God's beloved.

Chapter 5:

I am justified by faith.
I am at peace with God.
I have God's love in my heart.
I have the Holy Spirit.
I am justified by his blood and am now saved from wrath.
I was reconciled to God through the death of His Son.
Because I have been reconciled, I am saved through his life.
I have received the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
I am in control of my life.

Chapter 6:

I have died to sin.
I was baptized on the day of his death.
I was buried with him through baptism into death.
I walk in the newness of life.
I am deeply connected to the nature of his death.
I, too, will be united with his resurrection.
My old self was crucified with Christ so that the body of sin might be done away with, and I might no longer be a slave to sin.

I am free from sin because I have died.
I will live with Christ because I have also died with him.
I consider myself dead to sin, but alive to God.
I am no longer under the power of sin, because I am no longer under the law but under grace.

I am obedient to the one to whom I submit myself.
I was a slave to sin, but I have become obedient from the heart.
I have been set free from sin and have become a slave to righteousness.
I have been set free from sin and have become a slave to God; therefore, I bear fruit in holiness, and my ultimate goal is eternal life.

Chapter 7:

I have been set free from the law through the body of Christ, so that I may belong to Jesus and bear fruit for God.

I have been set free from the law, since I have died to what held me captive, so that I may serve the new law of the Spirit and not the old law of the letter.

I now serve God's law with my mind, but I serve the law of sin with my flesh.

Chapter 8:

I am no longer under condemnation.
Through the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, I am set free from the law of sin and death.

I am in the Spirit because God's Spirit dwells in me.
I have a body that is dead because of sin, but a spirit of life because of righteousness.

I have a spirit within me that will bring my mortal body to life.
I have received a spirit of sonship, in which I cry out, “Abba, Father!”
I am a child of God.
I am an heir of God and a co-heir with Christ.
I have been saved by hope.
I know that all things work together for good for those who love God.
I am known, predestined, called, justified, and glorified.
God gives me everything as a gift.
Through the One who loved me, I am more than a conqueror in all things.
Nothing and no one can separate me from the love of God.
