The Way into the Sanctuary
God is holy—and we as His people, His children, His body, and His temple should also be holy. But how does that work? How can our faith and our lives be increasingly transformed by this holiness?
Sigrid reflects with you on our life of faith, our struggle of faith, and the fact that we must continually make decisions and follow a path. The Old Testament sanctuary, the Tabernacle, is a remarkable pattern that God presents to us. We can learn a great deal from this, because the things prescribed by God in the Old Covenant—right down to clothing and utensils—are a “foreshadowing” and remain of great significance for our life of faith to this day. Sigrid is going on a treasure hunt with you in the sanctuary.
According to the One who called you and is holy, Be holy, too in all your ways. For it is written: “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
1 Peter 1:15-16
