I Need God's Intervention Because of Problems in Relationships, Family or Marriage
Countless people are in very difficult relationships. Things aren't going well—for example, in their marriage or with their children. There are difficulties and conflicts. Perhaps there are loved ones who refuse to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, or there is rebellion; misunderstandings or problems with parents, siblings, and so on.
Of course, this also applies to the workplace or school. For example, in cases of bullying. Or for people who can't find a spouse, even though they long for one.
If relationships are something that personally affect you and weigh on your mind, I’d like to invite you to pray this prayer with me.
The Prayer:
Dear Lord,
I come to you as your child, and I ask you to intervene in my relationships. I ask you to change the things I cannot change. I ask you to glorify yourself and to reveal yourself as Lord, Savior, and Redeemer in my life and in my relationships.
I ask you to change things and take away burdens. To simply remove the things that have been causing problems for so long.
I ask you for comfort, I ask you for encouragement, I ask you for your abundant blessing.
And Lord, wherever it is my fault, wherever I’m doing things wrong, wherever I’m the one causing problems, I ask you to make that clear to me. I ask you to give me insight into these things so that I can set them right.
Lord, I simply ask that my relationships improve, that you intervene, and that you do what I desire with all my heart—but which I simply cannot force to happen. You, Lord, can intervene and turn these things around for the better.
And so I would like to ask you for this. I would now like to come to you and receive it from your hand in the name of Jesus.
Amen.
We are certain that the Lord will bring about change in your relationships. We are certain:
God has more for you!
